Following the current urban transformation projects, the City of Varberg invited students, teachers and practitioners within architecture, art, archaeology and urban planning to promote an interdisciplinary summer academy. The summer academy is hosted by the city council of Varberg and Campus Varberg.

Through practice and theory the focus is experimentation, urban exploration, representation, design and building to transform common urban spaces around the harbour of Varberg.

The result is an exhibition entitled “Imagine the Future” featuring artistic installations developed by the participants in order to stimulate the dialogue between the municipality and the inhabitants of Varberg.
