Warehouse is an architecture and art collective.
In our search for what architecture is nowadays and what role the architects play, Warehouse aims to find a contemporary architectural praxis through design, experimentation and hands-on approach on projects for public and private space.
In the development of our projects research, design and construction are planned and implemented as a whole, perceiving the construction process as a sharing, teaching and learning moment.
Warehouse develops participative architecture in cultural and social projects. The participative design and construction leads to results with greater impact in the emerging urban landscape. These projects are supported by mediation processes stimulating participation, inclusion and ownership.
AMOVT association was created in 2014 for purposes of development and revitalization of urban space through participatory processes that improve its conditions in physical, social and cultural apects.
For the achievement of its purposes the association carries out various activities to promote interaction between the different agents involved in participatory and collaborative projects. Agents that have their representation in the urban space, members or not, in Portugal or abroad.
The association has been developing participatory and collaborative projects in urban space through the activation, construction and rehabilitation of different types of facilities, spaces and buildings. The organization seeks to contribute to the regulation, dissemination and sharing of methodologies, models and techniques used as tools of participatory processes.
