The wooden modules are composed of two fixed shelves and two adjustable shelves to be adapted to different exhibition panels and audiences of all ages.

The design was accompanied by a DIY manual that explains step-by-step how to cut and assemble each frame. The modules are thought to articulate and create different paths for each exhibition. This way we seek to initiate an open process that can be autonomously carried on by the self-construction of any new module.

The simple and minimal language of the displays works in materic and spatial contrast with the museum, which was conceived by the “art collector compulsiveness” of its founder Henrique Amorim who followed the horror vacui principles.

The first exhibition was organized by the festival BasquerArt about environmental awareness. Living Among What’s Left Behind by the photojournalist Mário Cruz portrays the Pasig garbage-river (Philippines) in 2018 in its critical state of piled-up garbage which lets you step on it.
